Ditch the Golden Shovels! Cheers to Lula!


Yesterday afternoon we finally commemorated the beginning of construction for Lula!  The road to this point has not been easy; but, we have had the help and support of many throughout the process—from the New Orleans City Council to the Louisiana State Legislature.  What better way to celebrate than by putting the shovels aside and toasting this very important milestone with the folks that have made this possible? 

The old air conditioner in the building was working overtime but Bear prepared a traditional lime daiquiri to cool us down and Jess complimented the cocktail with two hor d'oevres that will make an appearance on Lula’s appetizers menu—Boudin Egg Rolls with molasses fig sauce and Smoked Pompano Avocado dip.
