Lula Vodka, Lula Rum and Lula Gin—are rooted in a 200+ year history of the sugarcane industry that began just a few miles from our still in New Orleans. Although those cane fields are long gone, we are proud to be able to bottle a bit of that history in our spirits.
All Lula Spirits are made of 100% Louisiana sugarcane products. They are hand crafted, small-batch and 100% gluten free. They are produced using a copper CARL still exclusively manufactured in Eislingen, Germany, a leader in the still industry for the past 150 years.
Lula’s bar (located within Lula Restaurant-Distillery) serves cocktails with the freshest ingredients available to complement our spirits. Our draft cocktail system allows us to provide unmatched consistency and speed for a handful of our most popular cocktails exclusively using Lula spirits.
At Lula, the cocktail is king. But, if that’s not your thing, we get it. Lula Restaurant-Distillery is full-service and happy to pour anything you would like—beer, wine and everything in between.
Small batch, hand crafted vodka produced from Louisiana sugar cane. Our vodka is distilled on our 450 liter copper pot still with two 10-plate rectification columns. This results in a low congener, highly rectified spirit that is smooth and clean with the soft finish of a cane vodka. Its clean taste can be enjoyed in a cocktail or on the rocks.
Our molasses and raw sugar based rum is batch fermented and distilled. Our pot-stilled white rum is an un-aged “aguardiente.”
The process of making gin is very similar to the vodka making process. The only difference is that gin is steeped with botanicals. At Lula, we use only the best botanicals available including juniper, coriander, angelica root, and citrus peel.
